ReplyGlad to hear it-- the only DiBruno Bros. product I've tried (so far!) is the line of gourmet cheese spreads... Last time I visited Blue Mountain Vineyards, I went home with the Bacon & Horseradish, and the Provolone and Chianti. Both were amazing! Looking forward to getting more this year.

ReplyInteresting viewpoint. However, the fact is that Dr. King was not known for advancements in socialist tactics or attempts to make America a Communist nation. He is remembered for the improvements in civil rights and equality that he helped make possible, and that is why we celebrate his birth every year.
Also, FDR is well-known for his use of "socialist" means in his New Deal, which was crucial in pulling America out of the Great Depression. I imagine that MLK's intentions were similar.

ReplyOk, before an angry mob forms, let me just say that these are my personal top-five favorites... if this were the "Top 6 Christmas Specials," rest assured that Charlie Brown would be on the list.
Now, if Snoopy had his own Christmas special, that would probably push it up a few places....

ReplyThere's only one logical explanation that I can think of: at each investigation that I accompany NCP on, I always announce that I'm a reporter. I think the ghosts just want their 15 minutes like everyone else. Perhaps that's why they're so talkative when I'm around! : )
In other news, for anyone who is interested in going to Friday night's public ghost hunt, November 18, the price has been lowered for the holiday to $50!

ReplyThat might be a good answer, Josey, but I'm not sure the Sun Inn had waitresses. : )
Ken, I apologize for not putting in my normal disclaimer--I thought I had included it, but now I see that I hadn't.
This article is based on my firsthand experiences, and doesn't necessarily reflect the precise findings of the paranormal group. They may even disagree with some of the things that I claim to have saw or heard.
As far as attending, my invitations come from the group themselves--I suggest contacting NCP if you'd like to tag along on an investigation. I know that in other instances, investigators from other groups have accompanied them. As always, thanks for the comments!

ReplyHi Ken, thanks for the comments! I can't personally extend the invitation to this Friday's ghost hunt; you would have to contact Scott Wiley, whose email is in the last paragraph of the story above.
I can tell you that NCP took careful measures to keep evidence from contamination--anything that might have even remotely been caught from outside was immediately dismissed.
Even though I've only been on a few investigations with them, I've admired NCP's method of reviewing evidence--they always try to debunk first, even the clearest photos or audio. I have seen them completely dismiss photos that would have had me convinced!
While we were at the Bucksville House, Scott Wiley spent thirty minutes debunking a photo that was taken from the outside, that looked like a woman in the window. He wasn't convinced, even though he took the picture! I think there might be some out there who would have just put the picture out as evidence.

ReplyJust a quick update to this story: this morning, Scott Wiley notified me that Jeff Wargo, through some research, identified a deceased firefighter by the name of David Evans, who is very possibly the spirit that was telling Wiley to take off the fireman's jacket.
Thanks to Jeff and Scott for the update!

ReplyHi Jenae, I'll certainly try to get the findings posted once the evidence is entirely reviewed by NCP. I'm sure there was a lot of spooky stuff that happened when we weren't paying attention!
As far as my personal belief... I won't say that I'm a non-believer, but I have tried to be as skeptical as possible on the few investigations that I've been on. Even so, I've already seen and heard enough strange things that I can't explain. I guess for now I'll just say that I'm very open to the possibility that paranormal exists!

As of March 2, passports for March Madness are all but sold out... according to the PR firm for the Wine Trail, there may be just a few left at Vynecrest in Breinigsville, but all others are gone!
