Alleged Hobby Lobby Thief Sought by Colonial Regional Police

An unknown woman with a toddler in tow allegedly stole more than $600 in jewelry-making merchandise from Hobby Lobby in the Northampton Crossings shopping center.

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying an alleged shoplifter who stole more than $600 in jewelry-making merchandise from Hobby Lobby in the Northampton Crossings shopping center. According to Colonial Regional Police, the alleged theft occurred around 5 p.m. on Dec. 17. The woman police are seeking -- pictured to the right -- had a toddler in tow. Hobby Lobby Willing to Pay Millions in Fight Against Emergency Contraception

Hobby Lobby, a 525-store arts and crafts chain, will face a $1.3 million-a-day fine beginning Jan. 1 for noncompliance with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

Hobby Lobby plans to defy a federal mandate requiring it to offer employees health coverage that includes access to the morning-after and week-after pill, according to an attorney for the Oklahoma City-based company. The 525-store arts and crafts chain will face a $1.3 million-a-day fine beginning Jan. 1 for noncompliance with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, according to CNN's Belief Blog. There is a Hobby Lobby inside the Northampton Crossings shopping center in Lower Nazareth Township. The next-closest store to the Lehigh Valley is in South Plainfield, N.J. Police: Woman Repeatedly Kicked in Abdomen by Lehigh Student

A Lehigh University student from China is accused of kicking a woman several times in the abdomen -- to the point she was unable to stand -- in the parking lot of the Hobby Lobby in Lower Nazareth Township.

A Lehigh Univeristy student kicked a woman with whom he is “currently in a romantic relationship” several times in the abdomen, requiring her to be taken to a hospital for treatment, court records say. The incident involving the suspect, Yaobin Dong, 23, allegedly occurred about 10 Tuesday night in the Hobby Lobby parking lot in the Northampton Crossings shopping center. The woman was unable to stand because of the kicking, the records say. The hospital to which she was taken is not identified. The shopping center is in Lower Nazareth Township, so Colonial Regional Police are handling. Crafts, Jewelry Allegedly Shoplifted from Lower Nazareth Stores

Colonial Regional Police report retail thefts at the Northampton Crossings shopping center that total over $300.

Easton Woman Allegedly Shoplifts Crafts from Hobby Lobby An Easton woman was cited for retail theft after allegedly shoplifting $83.86 in crafts from Hobby Lobby in Lower Nazareth Township. On July 16 at around 7:53 p.m., according to Colonial Regional Police, a store manager observed Aislinn L. Beam, 36, conceal a variety of craft items in her purse. The 16 items, police say, included baby bottles, picture frames and confetti. Beam was also observed selecting items and placing them in a cart, according to police. The cart and the items inside were allegedly discarded, police added, before Beam attempted to leave the store. Beam spotted the manager, however, and she walked back inside.
