Accused Thief Admits to Five Lower Nazareth Break-Ins

Terry Ruser, 38, of Easton, already in prison for allegedly stealing from cars in Forks Township and on College Hill, admits to five vehicle break-ins in Lower Nazareth Township.

An Easton man already in custody after admitting to police he broke into numerous vehicles on College Hill and in Forks Township, has now fessed up to five vehicle break-ins in Lower Nazareth Township. Terry Patrick Ruser, 38, who was identified in surveillance video by his short stature and backward New England Patriots cap, is also accused of using stolen credit cards to make purchases totaling more than $425, court records say. Some of those purchases -- mostly $250 in gifts cards from Wawa stores on Easton’s College Hill and in Lower Nazareth -- were detailed when Ruser was arraigned the first time on Sept. 20. Police: Stolen Credit Cards Bought $300 in Wawa Gift Cards

An Easton man is accused in multiple thefts in Forks Township and College Hill, including using stolen credit cards to buy gift cards from area Wawa stores.

Forks Township police, looking to crack a rash of thefts from cars and other vehicles in the southeastern part of the township and neighboring College Hill in Easton, hit paydirt Wednesday night. They arrested an Easton man, Terry Patrick Ruser, 37, who admitted to entering numerous vehicles in the area north of Lafayette College in the past two weeks and stealing various items. He was taken into custody near Lafayette and McCartney streets on College Hill. Court records show Ruser had an especially active stretch during the early morning hours of Sept. 12.
