Nazareth Softball Community Day takes place at 11 a.m. Saturday.
Nazareth Softball Community Day is ready to play ball. The Blue Eagles of Nazareth host the Stroudsburg Mountaineers Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Nazareth Intermediate School Field. Proceeds benefit the Miracle League of Northampton County and special fundraisers will be held. Any additional donations will be forwarded to the Miracle League. Make checks payable to the Nazareth Softball Booster Club. Checks earmarked for the Miracle League are deductible for income tax purposes

Sign-ups for spring 2012 baseball and softball will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Jan. 28 and from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at the Bushkill Township Municipal Building. Sign-ups will also be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 4 at the Bushkill Township Fire Hall. Registration for Bushkill Township Athletic Association sports is open to township residents only. All new and returning registrants are asked to bring a copy of their birth certificate or Babe Ruth ID card. Parents are asked to bring a self-addressed envelope with a stamp and three checks for registration, workbond and fundraiser.
