Cody William Stelma of Plainfield Township is facing drug charges after Easton police arrested three men Monday for alleged possession of marijuana, cocaine, heroin and Oxycodone.
Easton police busted three men on drug charges Monday afternoon for alleged possession of marijuana, cocaine, heroin and Oxycodone after police followed their green Chevy Malibu. But perhaps more significant are the criminal histories of two of the men. A fourth man was in the green Chevy transporting the suspects. But the complaints do not say if he was charged. The complaints, filed by Detectives Andrew Ocetnik and Anthony Arredondo, tell the following story: Drummond, of 254 W. St. Joseph St., was charged with possession or distribution of a small amount of marijuana as part of Monday’s bust. Crystal Anne Butz of Lower Nazareth allegedly tried to fill a phony prescription for three drugs -- clonazepam, zolpidem and hydrocodone -- at the Rite Aid in Nazareth.
A Lower Nazareth woman is accused of trying to get drugs from a Nazareth pharmacy using a phony prescription. Crystal Anne Butz, 34, of the 4000 block of Steuben Road, is charged with identity theft, possession of a controlled substance and acquisition by misrepresentation. According to court records, Butz tried to fill a prescription for three drugs -- clonazepam, zolpidem and hydrocodone -- at the Rite Aid in Nazareth. Nazareth police say Butz was using a prescription from a doctor who told the pharmacy he hadn't seen Butz as a patient since April. According to the National Institute of Heath, clonazepam is an anti-seizure medication. Zolpidem is a sleeping pill, and hydrocodone is a painkiller. Butz was arraigned before on-duty District…

Justin Scott Hanzl, 24, admitted to having a drug problem when found Saturday morning in possession of heroin and a syringe at Nazareth Speedway.
A man was found sleeping Saturday morning in a 20-year-old car on Nazareth Speedway property, and after being awakened told police he got permission to sleep there “from a guy named Keith.” A Colonial Regional Police officer informed Justin Scott Hanzl, 24, that Keith does not own the speedway property and that the real owner doesn’t want anyone there. Hanzl, whose home on the 600 block of Nazareth Pike (Route 191) is just down the road from the speedway property, also was found to have heroin, 18 wax baggies and a syringe, court records say. Hanzl admitted to police he has a drug problem. The speedway and Hanzl’s home are in Lower Nazareth Township. Richard Long Jr., 20, of Nazareth is facing institutional vandalism and drug charges after allegedly hitting a borough street sign, fleeing the accident, and then being found in possession of marijuana.
A Nazareth man was found in possession of $625 -- or two ounces -- worth of marijuana after he was stopped for allegedly hitting a street sign in the borough and then fleeing the accident. A piece of the car’s bumper was left behind, according to police. Richard Long Jr., 20, of 12 West Street, was arraigned before night duty District Judge Richard H. Yetter III on Wednesday and charged with manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to deliver -- a felony -- institutional vandalism, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. Colonial Regional Police discover 28.5 grams of marijuana, two digital scales, a marijuana cigarette and drug paraphernalia inside a car being driven by a Hanover Township man.
Initially pulled over for speeding, two Hanover Township men are facing multiple drug charges after a Colonial Regional Police officer saw a marijuana cigarette in plain view, according to police. On Nov. 25, Adam Bittner, 23, of the 300 block of Pine Top Trail in Hanover Township, and Ryan Hahn, 21, of the same address, were pulled over for speeding on Steuben Road near Troy Court in Lower Nazareth Township. The Colonial Regional officer smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, according to a press release. The officer also saw a marijuana cigarette in plain view.
