Four Northampton Community College (NCC) students—including Nazareth alum Stacy Beaty—were honored in Harrisburg on Monday, April 8, as members of the All-Pennsylvania Academic Team. They were selected from among students at community colleges across the state, based on academic excellence and leadership in a program co-sponsored by USA Today and Phi Theta Kappa. Phi Theta Kappa is an international honor society for students at two-year and junior colleges. To qualify for membership, inductees must have a 3.5 or higher grade point average, be enrolled in an associate's degree program, and perform community service work.
