Route 33 Interchange Groundbreaking Scheduled for Jan. 31

Palmer Township and state officials will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the Route 33 interchange on Jan. 31.

Plans for the Route 33 interchange are heading in the right direction. Palmer Township officials said Wednesday that a groundbreaking ceremony on the long-awaited, much-anticipated Route 33 interchange project will take place Jan. 31. "It's exciting. It's coming to fruition," Supervisors Chairman Dave Colver said. "It's a big deal." Colver said that the ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. at Porsche Logistics in the Palmer Township Industrial Park. "It will be a presentation and then a groundbreaking ceremony with shovels and all that," Colver said.
