Christmas Tree Disposal Dates for the Nazareth Area

Nazareth has curbside collection, while Upper Nazareth, Lower Nazareth and Bushkill townships offer dropoff locations.

Christmas trees will be collected at curbside on: All tinsel, garland and ornaments must be removed from the trees.   Christmas tree dropoff will begin Wednesday, Dec. 26 and will run through the end of January. There are two dropoff locations:   Trees will be accepted at 4600 Newburg Road from Jan. 2 to Jan. 12. Christmas Tree Recycling Program hours are: All persons participating in the program will be required to provide identification at the time of disposal. Appointments: There will be no dropoff in the event of a snow or ice storm. Lower Nazareth residents may also dispose of their Christmas trees at the First Regional Compost Authority facility at 6701 Weaversville Road, Allen Township. No end date has been set. There are two drop-off locations this year: Trees may be dropped off anytime.   Trees will be accepted at 4600 Newburg Road from Jan. 3 to Jan. 14.
