Robert A. March ,61, of Upper Nazareth Township, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2012. He was a member of Vigilance Hose Co. No. 1 and the Upper Nazareth Fire Department.

Robert A. March, 61, of Friedenstahl Avenue, Upper Nazareth Township, died suddenly late Friday evening, Oct. 12, 2012, in his home. He was the husband of Maxaine A. (Ackerman) Sprague since Feb. 25, 2000. Born in Easton, he was a son of the late John A. and Sadie (Frack) March. Robert worked as a machine operator for the former S & L Plastics Co., Upper Nazareth, before retiring in 2009. He was a member of Vigilance Hose Co. No. 1 and the Upper Nazareth Fire Department. Robert was an avid fan of racing and the Green Bay Packers. Robert H. Keck, 89, of Nazareth, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at Moravian Hall Square.

Robert H. Keck, 89, of Nazareth, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at Moravian Hall Square. For 66 years he was married to Anita M. (Knecht) Keck who died on Dec. 20, 2011. Born in Lower Nazareth Township, Robert was the son of the late Harrison and Hester (Fogel) Keck. He was a sales manager for the Keystone Cement Co. in Bath for over 20 years before retiring in January of 1991. In conjunction with his work, he was a member and former officer of the Ready Mix Concrete Association and the Pennsylvania Aggregate Concrete Association (PACA). In his community, Robert was a Deacon, Elder and member of the men's choir at St. John's United Church of Christ, Nazareth. Kathleen E. Billman, 80, of Nazareth, died Sept. 3, 2012, at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. She and her husband of 60 years, Robert L. Billman, were married May 31, 1952. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Julia (Weidman) Hornecker. Survivors: In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Mitchell, a daughter, Michelle, and granddaughters Brittany and Brianne. Frances M. Harstine, 83, formerly of Nazareth, died Friday, July 27, 2012, at The Village at Sullivan Trail in Forks Township.

Frances M. Harstine, 83, formerly of Nazareth, died Friday, July 27, 2012, at The Village at Sullivan Trail in Forks Township. She was the wife of the late George Harstine, who died in Sept. 1990. Born in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of the late Mr. Moyer and Sadie (Ruth) Moyer. Frances worked for the former Nazareth Mfg. Co. as a presser for over 40 years before retiring in 1994. She was very active for over 30 years at the Bushkill Valley Motorcycle Club, Easton. She served as past president and former treasurer of the Ladies Auxiliary along with assisting with many activities throughout the years. She was a member of the I.L.G.W.U. local chapter. Robert H. Smith, 79, of Nazareth, died Monday, July 23, 2012, at home in the presence of his wife. He had a 17-year career at Moravian College and Theological Seminary, retiring as Vice President of Administration in 1992.

Robert H. Smith, 79, of Nazareth, died Monday, July 23, 2012, at home in the presence of his wife, Marian A. (Knecht) Smith, to whom he was married for the past 51 years. Born in Tatamy on July 17, 1933, he was a son of the late Willis F. and Helen C. (Schmueckle) Smith. He had a 17-year career at Moravian College and Theological Seminary, retiring as Vice President of Administration in 1992. While in retirement he was named Vice President Emeritus. He had previously served as Controller and Chief Fiscal Officer at Moravian. In addition, he worked at Plummer Precision Optics and at HDW Electronics. David H. Gower, 84, of Nazareth, died Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Moravian Hall Square. He was the husband of Jeanne W. (Weiss) Gower. They celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary on June 25, 2012. Born in Nazareth on Sept. 15, 1927, he was the son of the late Harry and Hilda (Beitel) Gower. David was an electrical engineer with the former Fuller Co. (now G.A.T.X.) in Bethlehem for 31 and a half years before retiring in 1987. Charles M. Stewart Sr., 68, of Nazareth, died Tuesday, June 12, 2012.

Charles M. Stewart Sr., 68, of Nazareth, passed into the more immediate presence of our Lord on Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at St. Lukes University Hospital, Fountain Hill. He and his wife Daun (Kleintop) Stewart were married for 23 years. Born March 10, 1944 in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Herbert and Blanche (Lewall) Stewart. He was employed by Bethlehem Steel Company until the mid 1980s when he became a tradesman in the plumbing industry. He retired in 2008. He had most recently worked as a crossing guard in Nazareth.
