Meals On Wheels of Northampton County provides home-delivered meals to members of the community whose movement is limited by age, disability or recovery from surgical or medical procedures and thus supports the independent living of these individuals. Meals may be delivered once or twice daily, and frozen meals and nonperishable items are available as well. Other services include pet meals, grocery shopping and the Listening Ear program, which provides isolated persons with social interaction. Meals may be modified to meet health needs and concerns, and meals may be ordered in bulk for senior centers and adult day programs.
