Touch-A-Truck Fundraiser to Benefit Library

Touch-A-Truck will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 1, and will allow your children to explore their favorite things on wheels.

Matchbox toys are awesome, especially when a car or truck flies down a ramp, somersaults through the air and smacks into a kitchen cabinet like George of the Jungle into a tree.

Good news, parents -- a fundraiser will be held this weekend for that will allow your children to Touch-A-Truck, but not send them down ramps and into your favorite vase.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 1 at .

Touch-A-Truck is "an opportunity for children of all ages to safely climb, explore and discover their favorite things on wheels, including big rigs, construction equipment, emergency vehicles, and much more," according to nazarethlibrary.org.

According to Lynn Snodgrass-Pilla, director of the library, there will be trucks from:

  • Local fire departments and EMS stations
  • UPS
  • Fogel's Fuel Service
  • Suburban Propane
  • Mack Trucks
  • There will also be tow trucks, a tractor, a jeep and more!

Tickets:

  • $5 per ticket
  • $20 for a family pack of five tickets
  • Can be purchased in advance at the library, or on the day of the event.
