Moravian Historical Society to Hold Arts and Crafts Festival

On Saturday, June 9, the Moravian Historical Society will hold its 34th annual Arts and Crafts Festival on the Whitefield House lawn.

will hold its 34th annual Arts and Crafts Festival from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 9.

Hosted on the lawn of the 1740 Whitefield House, the event is one of the Lehigh Valley’s largest outdoor arts and crafts festivals.

The festival will feature 75 to 100 local artisans. A variety of goods will be available for purchase, including restored and vintage photographs, hand woodworked items, watercolors from Mary Jane and Ralph Lahr, handmade soaps, many quilted items, and more.

Attendees will also enjoy homemade cheese from Klein Farms, organic goods from Berkholders Certified Organic Produce, gourmet spice rubs from , plants from the Nazareth Garden Club, homemade jams from Chestnut Hill Orchard, stuffed grape leaves from Greek Delites, and much more.

And don’t forget about the live, free entertainment by the Nazareth Community Chorus, followed by the Nazareth Community Band, and Dave Doll from .

“We are pleased to expand the festival during its 34th year to showcase all categories of local artisans, musical entertainment, and youth activities," said Megan van Ravenswaay, the Whitefield House site director in a press release. "However, despite our expanded programming, our goal is to provide free admission so everyone in the Lehigh Valley community can experience this event hosted on Moravian Historical Society’s beautiful property.”
