Road Work for the Week of Sept. 17

PennDOT will be working on Mauch Chunk Street in Nazareth, Rt. 191, Rt. 248 and Rt. 512 among other roads in the region this week.

Make your commute a little easier by avoiding the following road work this week:

Nazareth

* Lane restrictions with flagging on Mauch Chunk Street beween Route 946 and Spring Street 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sept. 18.

Lower Nazareth

* Lane restrictions on Rt. 191 between Hecktown Road and Newburg Road for maintenance 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 19.

* Lane restrictions on Rt. 191 between Newburg Road and Hollo Road 9 a.m. -3 p.m. Sept. 20 for sealing cracks.

* Lane restrictions on Rt. 191 between Hollo Road and Broad Street 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 21 for sealing cracks.

* Lane restrictions on Rt. 191 between Rt. 22 and Hecktown Road 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 18 for sealing cracks.

* Lane restrictions on Rt. 248 between Broad Street and Hollo Road 9 a.m. -3 p.m. Sept. 18 for repairs.

* Lane restrictions on Rt. 248 from Gracedale Avenue to Penn Allen Road 9 a.m. -3 p.m. Sept. 20 for pothole patching.

Plainfield Township

* Lane restrictions with flagging on Rt. 191 between School Road and PA Ave. 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 19-20 for pothole patching.

* Lane restrictions on Delabole Road between State Park Road and First Street 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 17-19 for pothole patching.

Bushkill Township

* Lane restrictions on Rt. 512 between Rt. 248 and Rt. 33 interchanges 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 19-20 for maintenance.
