Nazareth Area Happenings: July 30 to Aug. 5

Nazareth Borough Council and Upper Nazareth Board of Supervisors to meet this week; Pennsylvania Longrifle Museum at the Boulton Historic Site to be open Aug. 4 and 5.

1. hours were recently extended. The facility at 155 Friedenstahl Ave. is now open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. every Wednesday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday.

A metal collection container is also available at the facility. All metal items, including appliances, will be accepted.

5. The final movie night of the summer at amphitheater will be held Saturday, Aug. 4. The movie, which will begin at sundown (around 9 p.m.) will be Soul Surfer (Rated PG). Don't forget to bring a blanket or chair so you can enjoy the movie in comfort.

The special exhibit this season is a from the War of 1812, as well as a celebration of the bicentennial of the founding of the Boulton Gun Works.
