Celebrate the Fourth of July in Nazareth

The Fourth of July holiday weekend kicks off Thursday with festivities in the area throughout the weekend.

It's our Independence Day.

And if you're not planning on hitting the pool or the beach or having a barbecue, there are plenty of places and ways to celebrate the Fourth of July around Palmer and Forks Townships this holiday weekend.

While Palmer and Forks are saving their fireworks celebrations for their Community Days in August and September, fireworks will light the skies around the region. Here's where.

Nearby Nazareth will get the holiday festivities started with its annual kazoo parade starting at 9:30 a.m.

Some places are open today while others are not. Here is a listing.

There are also some great summer blockbusters out now so the Regal Cinemas in Lower Nazareth Township might be the place to be this holiday weekend.

Nazareth will be holding a Fab Five Fest in Boro-Park from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday while Easton will celebrate its Heritage Day with all kinds of events and fireworks Sunday night.
