Car Show in Tatamy Postponed to September

Tatamy Historical Society 20th annual car show postponed until Sept. 22.

The Tatamy Historical Society 20th annual car show has been postponed until Sept. 22.

Organizers announced on Monday on Palmer-Forks Patch.com about event being scrapped Sunday. They did not give a reason why it was postponed.

The event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. rain or shine.

It is sponsored by Breidinger's Auto Parts & Tire in Tatamy.

Commemorative dash plaques will be given to the first 100 pre-registered automobiles. Door prizes will also be given out.

And the historical society will hand out a trophy and $100 to the club with the most pre-registered cars.

Trophies will be handed out in 11 categories.

There will be entertainment and food for the event, which will be held on 8th and Broad Streets in Tatamy.
