Sponsors, Players Needed for Clippers' Annual Golf Outing

There are six levels of sponsorship; proceeds will benefit the Upper Nazareth Clipper youth football and cheerleading programs and Angel 34.

The Upper Nazareth Athletic Association is looking for sponsors -- and players -- for its third annual golf outing, which will be held on June 9 at the Whitetail Golf Club in Moore Township.

There are six levels of sponsorship. All proceeds will benefit the Upper Nazareth Clipper youth football and cheerleading programs and .

The deadline to register is May 25.

Any type of donation is appreciated, whether it be monetary or a gift donation to be used at the golf outing. Gift donations will be given a monetary value to determine level.

The six levels of sponsorship are:

  • Varsity: $2,000+
    - Fee for foursome
    - Banner displayed at 2012 Upper Nazareth home games
    - Sign displayed at one tee, one hole and registration table
  • Junior Varsity: $1,000
    - Fee for foursome
    - Sign at one tee and one hole
    - Sign at registration table
  • Midget: $500
    - Fee for foursome
    - Sign at one tee
  • Pee Wee: $100
    - Sign displayed at one tee
  • Junior Pee Wee: $50
    - Sign displayed at one hole
  • Flag: $25
    - Sign at registration table to display name of company or an Upper Nazareth football player or cheerleader

All sponsors will be announced over the loud speaker at Upper Nazareth home football games.

Just interseted in playing a round of golf? The fee is $80 per golfer ($75 per golfer if registered by May 11). The fee includes green fees, cart, dinner and beverages. It is a four-person scramble format.

There will also be:

  • Longest drive contest
  • Closest to the pin contest
  • Putting competition (to be held during registration)
  • Pot of Gold
  • 50-50 raffles
  • Chevy Cruze from Chevy 21 as a hole in one prize

About Angel 34:

is a national foundation -- headquartered in -- that is led by the parents of Nicole Sheriff, Doug and Linda Sheriff.

In May 2004, Nicole was just 15 years old when she passed away after a lengthy battle with Ewing’s sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer.

During her treatments, Nicole discovered that ICEEs had the amazing ability to relieve the pain of mouth and stomach sores suffered by cancer patients.

With the help of schools and field hockey teams, Nicole raised $15,000 to install an ICEE machine in the pediatric cancer ward of .

Today, the foundation has continued with the ICEE program and has installed machines in more than 15 pediatric centers across the country, with current plans to install 100 more.
