Missing Nazareth Tennis Team Banner Found

Sports officials ask for banner's return without charges being pressed.

The Nazareth Area High School Girls Tennis Team was missing a banner, but now it's been found.

Over the Labor Day weekend, the Nazareth Girls Tennis Team lost a valuable gift that they just received in August, Nazareth Patch sports blogger Andy Weaver is reporting.

Weaver said the team had a banner hanging up on the tennis courts and somebody took it away from them.

Sports officials are advising that whoever took this away from the girls, please return it immediately without penalty or getting in trouble.

"It not yours. The more you wait to return it, There might be some serious actions taken," Weaver said.

Anyone with information should email Nazareth High School Principal Alan Davis at adavis@nazarethasd.org or Weaver at nazoeagle@rcn.com or Athletic Director "Joseph Silimperi at jsilimperi@nazarethasd.org.

Weaver stated Thursday afternoon that the banner had been found.
