The winners of Nazareth's -- sponsored by -- are as follows:

First Place: Matt Stoudt
Second Place: Rick Frey
Third Place: Carissa Strye
Fourth Place: Chelsea Hilliker
Fifth Place: Christine Cahill
Sixth Place: Steve Gieder
Seventh Place: Dan Demarest
Eigth Place: Carol Seaton

The top eight finishers all received cash prizes. Matt Stoudt of Nazareth, the grand-prize winner, received $100.

Road Rally Background:

On July 16 in conjunction with Nazareth Days, 90 total registrants -- a new record for the Road Rally -- received a packet with directions and questions that needed to be answered along the way. The answers were found along a specified route, so that no one can cheat mileage.

Winners were determined by the number of correct answers. The top eight spots won cash prizes. And although the rally is not a race, time was counted for tie-breaking purposes.

Some proceeds from the Road Rally will benefit the  of Bushkill Township, which raises money for a cure for pediatric cancer, while the rest will benefit Vigilance Hose.

And don't forget to mark your calendar for next year! In 2012, the 15th Annual Road Rally will be held Saturday, July 21.
