The Grab & Go Kids Planner

Face painting, free kids meals and crafts are just a few of the kid-friendly activities in this week's Grab & Go Kids Planner.

1. Face Painting at Perkins

Where/When: Perkins Family Restaurant & Bakery, Bethlehem Township; Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Why Go:
Thursday night is kids night at Perkins! Between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. -- with the purchase of one adult entrée -- you get one kid's meal for free. And between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., your child can get his or her face painted!

2. “Back to School Night”

Where/When: ; Thursday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Why Go:
All parents and guardians are invited to visit with the childrens' teachers and tour the high school. Important information regarding the upcoming school year will also be provided. Light refreshments will be served in the cafeteria.
What to Bring: Parents and guardians are asked to bring a copy of their childrens' schedules.

3. Lower Nazareth Recreation Association Basketball Registration

Where/When: ; Saturday, Sept. 17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Thursday, Sept. 22 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Why Go:
 Lower Nazareth Recreation Association Basketball registration will be held Sept. 17 and 22 for boys and girls who are ages 6 to 11 as of Sept. 1, 2011.
Required Information and Paperwork:

  • Parents will need to complete and sign registration documents.
  • Parents should bring two checks: one for registration fees and one for a $35-per-family uniform deposit.
  • All first-time players must provide a copy of their birth certificate (or the equivalent) at registration (exluded In House - ages 6 and 7)

Price: One child: $80; two or more children: $110; In House (ages 6 and 7): $60.

4. Touch a Truck – Tickets on Sale

Where/When:
Why Go:
Get your tickets now for the kid-friendly Touch a Truck event scheduled for Oct. 1 at . The event allows children of all ages to explore a variety of cars and trucks -- that they can sit in and stand and climb on without getting in any trouble!
Price
: $5 per ticket 

 

5. Kids Eat Free at Chick-Fil-A

Where/When: Tuesday, Sept. 20 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Why Go:
With the purchase of one adult entrée, you get a kid's meal for free! In addition to the free meal, your child will be able to make a special craft with a representative from Michael’s.
