Scooby Doo, a breakfast buffet, basketball registration and more round out this week's Grab & Go Kids Planner.
1. Scooby Doo to Make an Appearance at Perkins
Where/When: Perkins Family Restaurant & Bakery, Bethlehem Township; Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Why Go: Thursday night is kid's night at Perkins! Between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. -- with the purchase of one adult entrée -- you get one kid's meal for free. But that's not all. From 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., kids get to hang out with Scooby Doo!

2. Kids in the Kitchen
Where/When: ; Saturday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Why Go: Your child will learn nutritional facts while also preparing food with their own hands. This week’s theme is “Build your Own Lunchbox.”
Price: $5 with a Wegmans shopper's club card. All children must be pre-registered with customer service before heading to the Kids in the Kitchen area.

3. Nazareth to Commemorate 10th Anniversary of 9/11
Where/When: ; Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
Why Go: To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, a commemoration ceremony will be held at Nazareth Area High School starting at 1:30 p.m. In addition to patriotic songs by the Nazareth Area Community Band and Chorus, U.S. Rep. Charlie Dent, R-15th, will speak, as will Paul McHale, who formerly held Dent's seat and was Assistant Secretary of Defense for Homeland Defense.
Note: This event may be more suitable for older children.
4. Nazareth Community Basketball Registration
Where/When: , north campus gym lobby; Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon, Monday, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Why Go: Nazareth Community Basketball registration will be held this weekend for children -- boys and girls -- who are ages 6 to 15 as of Sept. 1, 2011.
Travel Teams: Travel teams will consist of boys and girls in 5th and 6th grade who register with any Nazareth youth basketball organization and will eventually attend and High School.
Required Information: All first-time players must provide a copy of their birth certificate at registration. Evaluation dates will be provided at registration.

5. All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast Buffet
Where/When: ; Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Why Go: Take a break and let someone else do the cooking! Come out and enjoy a delicious, all-you-can-eat breakfast.
Price: Adults: $7, Children: $4, Seniors: $5
