State Theatre Announces Schools In Freddy Competition
Nazareth Area High School will participate in the Freddy Awards with its production of "Singin' In The Rain."
-- for the very first time -- is among a record number of 30 schools that will be participating in the State Theatre's 2012 Freddy Awards, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
Nazareth will present its musical production, "Singin’ In The Rain," on:
- April 20 and 21 at 7:30 p.m.
- April 22 at 2 p.m.
- April 27 and 28 at 7:30 p.m.
- April 29 at 2 p.m.
The Freddy Awards recognize accomplishments in the production and performance of musical theater in high schools in Northampton and Lehigh counties, as well as Warren County, N.J.

A list of the participating schools, along with their productions and performance dates, is available at www.freddyawards.org, and can also be accessed through the Freddy Awards iPhone application, available for free at iTunes.
The program will culminate on Thursday, May 24, in a three-hour televised awards ceremony from the State Theatre.
