Rivals 'Go Green' for Matt Greene

Freedom High School is encouraging everyone attending Friday night's football game against Nazareth Area to wear green in support of missing teacher.

Nazareth and Freedom high schools were rivals on the football field Friday night, but they came together to show support for missing Nazareth Area teacher Matthew Greene of Bethlehem.

Freedom hosted a "Green Out" at the game, encouraging everyone who attended to wear green in honor of the math teacher who went missing in July.

Kickoff was at 7 p.m. at Freedom.

Greene, an avid hiker, was last seen in Mammoth Lakes on July 16.  Search efforts continue.

Greene's family reported on their Find Matthew Greene Facebook page that they have now opened an official missing person case in the Lehigh Valley in addition to the search efforts going on in California.
