Nazareth Theatre Troupe Presents 'Singin' in the Rain'

With a successful opening night behind it, the Nazareth Area High School Theatre Troupe will present 'Singin' in the Rain' five more times.

The Theatre Troupe opened its 69th musical production, "Singin' In The Rain," Friday night. The film -- frequently cited as one of the best musicals ever -- was adapted into a stage musical in 1983.

The theatre troupe will present "Singin’ In The Rain" in the high school auditorium five more times:

  • April 21 at 7:30 p.m.
  • April 22 at 2 p.m.
  • April 27 and 28 at 7:30 p.m.
  • April 29 at 2 p.m.

A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to charity.

The school will participate in the annual -- a competition for high school musicals in the region -- for the first time this year.
