June 5, 2011, 2pm - 3:30pm - Moravian Genealogical Records
The Moravian Church has a long history of saving and collecting information about the past.  In this presentation participants will learn about the types of records collected by the Moravians and what uses they have to individuals interested in learning about their family history.

June 18, 2011, 2pm- 3:30pm - The Stories My House
Are you looking for more information about your old home?  This program will teach participants the steps to take to discover the history of their home.

June 19, 2011, 2pm - 3:30pm - Caring for Your Family’s Collections
Every family keeps mementos of the past. Some families donate these mementos to museums to ensure preservation for the future; others pass them down from generation to generation.  In this presentation, participants will be shown techniques for preserving family treasures from wedding dresses to scrapbooks.

June 25, 2011, 2pm - 3:30pm - Scouting Out Your Family Tree
This exciting program will teach children the fundamentals of genealogy in a fun and exciting way.  Scouts who sign up will also receive credit towards the following badges/patches.

June 26, 2011, 2pm - 3:30pm - Starting to Grow Your Family Tree
Getting started is often the hardest part of any project, especially, genealogy.  Program participants will be instructed in the ways to start their family histories and the steps to take to complete them.
