Upper Nazareth to Hold Township-Wide Yard Sale

Upper Nazareth will hold a township-wide yard sale on Saturday, June 2 and a clean-up day on Saturday, June 9.

Spring officially began on March 20, which means your spring cleaning should be in full swing.

However, if you're a procrastinator like me, then your spring cleaning will get done when the motivation presents itself.

Thankfully for residents, the township has offered that motivation.

A township-wide yard sale will be held Saturday, June 2 -- rain or shine.

Not only can you clean out some of that clutter, but you can also make a few bucks.

How do you finally let go of old treasures to make room for new? Tell us in the comment section below.

For items that can't be sold, the township will hold a clean-up day the following weekend from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 9.

Materials Accepted:

  • White goods
  • Yard waste
  • Metal goods
  • General trash
  • Wood materials
  • Tires - for a fee
  • Batteries - for a fee

Materials NOT Accepted:

  • Paint and chemicals

The drop-off location will be at East Penn Transfer Station, 4687 Hanoverville Road, #C, Bethlehem.

Anyone dropping off items will need proof of Upper Nazareth residency.

In addition to the above, the township now has a metal collection container at its yard waste facility, 155 Friedenstahl Avenue.

All metal items, including appliances, will be accepted.

Facility hours are Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
