Take a Walk Along Tatamy Bridge

The Tatamy Bridge reopened Wednesday after being closed for two years.

The Tatamy Bridge reopened Wednesday to the delight of residents and officials who were out to welcome the return of the structure.

The bridge had been closed since May 2011 and the new one is expected to last between 75 and 100 years.

After its opening Wednesday following a dedication ceremony, several Tatamy vehicles were the first to drive over the revamped white bridge.

And then residents and officials took the walk over Bushkill Creek into Forks Township.
