Nazareth Police Meeting with Crossing Guards Thursday

A meeting between the police department and Nazareth's crossing guards will take place at council chambers Thursday morning as the borough prepares for the upcoming school year.

Meanwhile, in other Borough Council news, $250 was awarded on recommendation by the fire committee to the Nazareth Special Police Force for the help provided on Nazareth Day, the Block Party, Martin on Main and with traffic control during the Nazareth Day fireworks display.

The council also approved a motion for a two-year lease with Northampton County for the use of the Magistrate's Office within the municipal offices on Main Street. The monthly rental is $3,000.
