Fairman’s girlfriend told police she and Fairman were at a concert in Philadelphia and had been dropped off by a friend in the Fourth Street neighborhood. The complaint does not give the girlfriend’s address. It says police found the couple in front of 146 Fourth St.

The woman said she and Fairman “were walking around to talk” when he hit her. Police said the woman was “visibly upset,” had blood on her face and leg, her lip was puffy and her nose was swollen and bleeding.

Nazareth Ambulance treated the woman, then took her to St. Luke’s University Hospital-Anderson Campus in Bethlehem Township for evaluation.

According to Fairman's Facebook page -- some of his posts are public -- he is a cannon crewmember, a soldier who works the howitzer cannons that support infantry and tank units during combat, goarmy.com states.
