Town Hall Meeting -- Property Taxes

State Reps. Marcia Hahn (R-Northampton) and Julie Harhart (R-Lehigh/Northampton) will co-host a town hall meeting on Oct. 13.

The meeting, which will begin at 7 p.m., will focus on property taxes and will be held at Hanover Elementary School, 3890 Jacksonville Rd., Bethlehem (Hanover Township, Northampton County).

"This event will offer those in attendance an opportunity to voice their concerns on the issue [of property taxes]," according to a press release from Hahn.

A PowerPoint presentation that outlines some of the history of property taxes, and profiles the challenges in addressing the issue will be shown.

State Rep. Seth Grove (R-York), co-chairman of the School Property Tax Reform Caucus, and State Rep. Doug Reichley (R-Berks/Lehigh), will also be in attendance.
