  • Yard waste ()
  • Paint
  • Chemicals

If you plan to bring
refrigerated units (IE: refrigerators, coolers, dehumidifiers and air conditioners):

  • All refrigerated units must be de-freonized prior to disposal.
  • All units must have the appropriate tags indicating the freon was removed in the proper fashion.
  • Any refrigerated units without proper tags -- regardless of whether the refrigerant has been removed or not -- will not be accepted.

If at all possible, items should be separated to allow East Penn to recycle certain goods, which minimizes the cost to the township while also being environmentally conscious.

Tips on preparing your material for disposal / recycling:

  • Remove tires from bicycles, gas grills, lawn mowers, etc. Separate any plastic and metal parts from toys, household items, etc.
  • Remove glass from storm doors and windows.
  • Clean all wood products of foreign materials (nails, drywall, etc.)

Please bring enough help to unload your vehicle.
