Autopsies: Crash Victims Died of Blunt Force Injuries

Autopsies were performed Wednesday on the two men hit by an SUV driven by a Nazareth woman on Race Street near the airport Monday.

Two men who were struck by a sport utility vehicle driven by a Nazareth woman Monday died of blunt force injuries, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's office. 

The coroner's chief deputy, Paul F. Hoffman Sr., said today that Elias Tabarani, 51, of Allentown died at the scene of the crash near Lehigh Valley International Airport Monday afternoon and Angel Bosch, 28, of Allentown was pronounced dead a little more than an hour later at St. Luke's University Hospital in Fountain Hill.

The autopsies were performed Wednesday. Initially, Bosch was believed to be from Easton.

State police at Bethlehem say that the driver, Caitlyn Clark, 26, of Nazareth was traveling east on Race Street when she lost control of her SUV near Cascade Drive and hit a utility pole before striking four men who were waiting at a bus stop.

In addition to killing Tabarani and Bosch, the crash left two men injured. Both Lawrence Oyster and Angel Guerrido-Lopez were hospitalized. The Morning Call reported that Oyster's friends said that as of Tuesday he was in critical condition.
