Area Children "Shop with Cops," Buy Gifts for the Holidays

Colonial Regional Police held the 6th annual "Shop with Cops" on Saturday, Dec. 10.

A group of excited children and several officers -- including Police Chief Roy Seiple -- started their morning with a hearty breakfast at in Lower Nazareth Township.

The group continued the fun-filled day by heading across the street -- in police cars -- to the in the Northampton Crossings shopping center with blazing lights and blaring sirens.

The children embarked on a shopping spree throughout the store with the help of police officers and other volunteers -- they shopped for their families and were allowed to choose one special gift for themselves.

After checkout the group stopped by Dunkin' Donuts to have the gifts wrapped.
