Man Dead in Nazareth Shooting

Northampton County Coroner Zach Lysek confirms a man was dead following a shooting at a house on S. Main Street in Nazareth. The shooting is under investigation.

A borough man is dead following a shooting Monday night at a house on S. Main Street in Nazareth, Northampton County Coroner Zach Lysek said.

The shooting is under investigation.

Lysek did not provide any additional details.

Nazareth Police Chief Thomas Tratcha was on the scene.

Police had roped off an area around the two-apartment house in the 200 block of S. Main Street, near Prospect Street.

On the scene were Tatamy, Stockertown and Nazareth police, the Northampton County Sheriff's Department, two Nazareth ambulance trucks and the Pennsylvania special fire police.
