Rollover Accident in Lower Nazareth Leads to DUI Charge

On March 8 around 10:21 p.m., police responded to the 3900 block of Hecktown Road in Lower Nazareth for a report of a motor vehicle accident.

When police arrived, they found a vehicle on its roof in the middle of the road. The driver, who was later identified as Brown, was found lying next to the vehicle.

When officers approached, Brown stood up and started to walk around.

As the officers spoke to Brown, they detected a strong odor of alcohol on his breath. Brown was also unsteady on his feet and had red, glassy eyes, according to police.

Brown was transported by Bethlehem Township EMS to for a medical evaluation. Blood was also drawn to determine Brown's blood-alcohol content.

A blood test showed that Brown had a blood-alcohol content of .22 percent.

Charges were filed through office.
