Police Still Searching for Car-Chase Suspect

After a manhunt that lasted about three hours, are still searching for a man who eluded police Friday after an officer attempted to make a traffic stop at 1:53pm, The Express-Times reports.

The man, whose identity has not been confirmed, was traveling north on Route 191 in a black Dodge truck when police attempted to make a traffic stop.

He continued north on Route 191, turned left onto Steuben Road, and then continued onto Georgetown Road in .

The suspect then drove about a mile into a cornfield and ran into nearby woods.

The man is described as a 34-year-old white male with brown hair and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and camouflage shorts.

It it unknown if he is armed.
