Nazareth Man and Woman to Receive Summons for Drug-Related Charges

An Upper Nazareth Township man and a Nazareth woman will each be receiving a summons for Title 35 (drug) violations.

Update: The charge against Brian Peeters was dismissed, according to court records.

An Upper Nazareth Township man and a Nazareth woman will each be receiving a summons for Title 35 (drug) violations after being found in possession of smoking devices containing burnt residue that is typically used to smoke marijuana, according to police.

On March 2 at 10:34 p.m., police stopped a vehicle for alleged traffic violations at Redington and Lower Saucon roads in Lower Saucon Township.

Police subsequently cited the driver of the vehicle, Wendi Warren, 44, of 840 Centre Square, Easton, for driving with a suspended license.

Police say a passenger in the vehicle, Jason Sobol, 20, also of 840 Centre Square, Easton, was cited for underage drinking, and another passenger, Brian Peeters, 22, of 2051 Fieldview Drive, Upper Nazareth Township, was found to be in possession of a smoking device "typically used to smoke marijuana" that contained burnt residue.

Ilissa Hess, 20, of 116 Belvidere St., Nazareth, was also found to be in possession of a smoking device containing burnt residue that is typically used to smoke marijuana, police said.

Hess, who was found to have allegedly consumed alcoholic beverages, will be mailed a summons for Title 35 (drug) violations, as will Peeters, police said.

A fourth passenger in the vehicle, identified by police as Jeramie Warren, 19, of 2015 Ferry St., Easton, "was just along for the ride," police added.
