A Nazareth woman threw her 8-month-old baby on the floor of her home where he landed on his head early Wednesday morning, according to borough police.

A Nazareth woman threw her 8-month-old baby on the floor of her home where he landed on his head early Wednesday morning, according to borough police.
Susan Autenreith, 35, of 127 N. Broad St., allegedly threw the child during an argument with her boyfriend over her drug use, according to an arrest affidavit.

Autenreith also allegedly pushed and smacked her boyfriend during the argument before she fled the house with the child at a little before 4:30 a.m. before returning, police said.
The affidavit did not mention whether the baby was hurt.

Autenreith was charged with two counts of simple assault, endangering the welfare of a child and harassment.
She was arraigned before on-duty District Judge Roy Manwaring of Bethlehem and committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bail.
