Missing Teacher Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser Sunday

Nazareth High School math teacher Matthew Greene is missing in the area of Mammoth Lakes in California.

A pancake breakfast fundraiser for missing Nazareth High School math teacher Matthew Greene will be held Sunday at two Applebee's locations.

The Find Matt Greene Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser takes place from 8-10 a.m. Sunday.

The fundraiser will be held at Applebee's locations at 3730 Nazareth Pike in Lower Nazareth Township and Linden Street in Bethlehem Township.

High School staff will be assisting so patrons could be waited on by one of their teachers at the Bethlehem Township site.

The cost is $6 for adults and $4 for children under age 10.

Greene, a high school math teacher in the Nazareth Area School District, a Bethlehem resident and a Lehighton High School graduate, was last seen in Mammoth Lakes on July 16. Search and rescue attempts are continuing.

Organizers hope that those who can't attend the event will make a donation.

Donations are being accepted on the Facebook page Find Matthew Greene. You can also mail donations to Find Matt Greene, PO Box 315, Northampton, PA 18067. Checks made payable to Find Matt Greene.

Donations and all fundraising efforts will be used to support search and rescue efforts, travel aid for those going to the site of Greene's disappearance, and in the long-term medical or other arrangements when he is found.
