Labor Day Tragedy: Lower Nazareth Man Dead
A Lower Nazareth Township man died Monday after he fell into a lake in Lehigh County.
Douglas Bachman, 51, of Hanoverville Road in Lower Nazareth Township was found unresponsive after he fell into a lake at Grouse Hall Fish & Game Association in North Whitehall Township just before 3:20 p.m. Monday.
Bachman was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital -- Cedar Crest, where he was pronounced dead, according to the Lehigh Valley coroner.
An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death, according to a press release from the coroner.
No further details about the incident were released as of 10 p.m. Monday.
