Food, Fun, Family and Fireworks Make Up Bushkill Twp. Carnival
Tonight, Saturday, is the last night to enjoy the annual Bushkill Township Volunteer Fire Company Annual Fundraiser Carnival.
The Bushkill Township Volunteer Fire Company Annual Fundraiser Carnival -- I’ll say it again, "Whew!" -- may not be the biggest carnival held in the Lehigh Valley, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in fun, food, family and fireworks.
A "small" carnival may sound like a detriment, but it's certainly not in Bushkill Township. In about one hour, you can experience everything the carnival has to offer, and then relax at a picnic table and listen to a great local band.
The Bushkill Township Volunteer Fire Company Annual Fundraiser Carnival also has a little something for everyone, whether you're a rock ’n' roll fan, a bingo enthusiast or a thrill seeker.

The annual carnival may be ending today, Saturday, but here's what you still have to look forward to between 5pm and 11pm:
- Bingo -- and tons of prizes
- A beer garden for adults
- Lucky 7 and the Casino Horns
- A $17 ride special between 7pm and 11pm, which is also when Lucky 7 and the Casino Horns will take the stage.
- The food is still plentiful -- burgers, tacos, clams, steamers, cheesesteaks, sausage and pepper sandwiches, onion rings, French fries, pierogies, chicken fingers, roasted corn on the cob, pretzels, clam chowder, kettle corn, hot dogs, baked potatoes and fried shrimp.
- The sweets are still plentiful -- assorted candies, cotton candy, ice cream and funnel cake.
Oh, and if you just so happened to hear, not see, last night's fireworks display -- we've got photos of the show just for you!
