Northampton County is under a flood advisory until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday due to heavy rains.
National Weather Service issued the advisory for Northampton, Lehigh, Berks, Monroe and Carbon counties.
The advisory is for small streams.
Doppler Radar has indicated showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall extending from Berks to Northampton counties, the National Weather Service states.
The showers are expected to bring up to two inches of localized rainfall.
The National Weather Service advises motorists not to drive their vehicles into areas where water covers the roadway and to move to higher ground.
