Fire Destroys Garage and Damages Nazareth Home

Resident tells police the fire started after he mowed the lawn.

WFMZ reports that a fire that consumed a garage and damaged a house this afternoon on the 100 block of N. New Street in Nazareth.

According to the article, the fire started at about 3:15 in the garage behind the home.

The Express Times states that one person was home at 135 N. New St. when the fire started. He told police he had cut his lawn and put the mower away in the garage shortly before the fire.
