C&S Employee Stole $336 in Baby Formula, Police Say

Edwin Journett, 29, of Allentown, is charged with stealing $336 in baby formula from his employer, C&S Wholesale Grocers.

An employee of C&S Wholesale Grocers has admitted to stealing $336 in Gerber Good Start® Infant Formula over the course of three days, according to court records.

Edwin Journett, 29, of the 800 block of Chew Street, Allentown, was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge John Capobianco and charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.

He is free on $5,000 unsecured bail.

According to a police criminal complaint, a security supervisor at C&S Wholesale Grocers in Lower Nazareth Township conducted an internal theft investigation on Journett.

The supervisor told police that Journett stole several cases of Gerber Good Start® Infant Formula, valued at $336, between April 7 and April 10.
