Arson Suspected After Two Fires Near N. Green Street Home

Two fires Monday night near a home on N. Green Street in Nazareth may have been intentionally set, according to a report in the Express-Times.

Two fires Monday night near a home on N. Green Street are being investigated as arson, according to a report in the Express-Times.

A little after 8 p.m. Monday, was dispatched to 34 N. Green St. for a report of a "rubbish" fire.

According to the Express-Times report, a decorative wreath was set on fire, and about 50 minutes later, police were called for another fire at the rear of the home.

No one was injured and no arrests have been made, according to Police Chief Thomas Trachta.

Anyone who may have seen suspicious activity on N. Green Street or in the area of the Nazareth post office are asked to call Trachta at (610) 759-9575.
