Area Men Allegedly Fight Outside Wawa in Lower Nazareth

Two men -- one from the Nazareth, the other from Upper Nazareth Township -- allegedly got into a fight outside the Wawa in Lower Nazareth Township and then fled.

Two area men were cited for disorderly conduct after they allegedly got into a fight outside the in , according to .

Police were called to the Wawa on Dec. 20 around 1:33 a.m. for a fight in progress. According to police, Andrew Smith, 25, of S. Fairview Street, Nazareth, and John Dilli Jr., 34, of Briarwood Lane, , both fled before police arrived.

Dilli, however, was stopped a short time later after police located the vehicle he was riding in. Smith was identified by a friend who was left at the Wawa after Smith fled, according to police.

The men were seen on video surveillance exchanging words inside the store before the fight in the parking lot. Police say the fight was broken up by female friends.

Dilli and Smith were cited for disorderly conduct. The citations were filed through District Judge Joseph Barner's office.
