Applications Being Accepted for Citizens' Police Academy

 will again offer its Citizens' Police Academy, which will be held weekly from Aug. 29 to Nov. 14.

According to a press release, the academy allows residents to see for themselves what their local police officers do in the course of a work day.

Courses will include:

• The Pennsylvania Crimes Code;
• Use of force;
• An accident investigation;
• And more 

Participants will also get the chance to do a ride-along and tour  and .

All participants must submit an application, which can be found at www.colonialregionalpd.org, by Aug. 15.
