A woman told Dewey that she was the victim of a domestic assault. Dewey had Nazareth EMS dispatched to evaluate the woman’s injuries.

The woman told police that Pysher, whom she identified as her boyfriend, “threw me around the house from one end to the other” and “whacked her head off the house.”

She also told police that Pysher threw her to the floor, put one hand around her throat and the other over her mouth so she could not breathe. She was able to escape by running through the back door of the house.

Pysher was arraigned before District Judge Joseph Barner and was sent to Northampton County Prison after failing to post $5,000 cash bail.
