“I am running because I intend to be part of the solution to these problems,” the resident of Lower Nazareth Township told the crowd. “There are parents in Forks Township where children are seen as a numbers rather than individuals. And there Middle Smithfield Township women who are afraid their well water is contaminated due to fracking.”

Raised by pastors the importance of education was instilled in Mark. Having to work his way through college and law school Aurand saw the importance of physical labor and hard work.  These are cornerstones of Aurand’s campaign to ensure that Pennsylvania has quality public education and that the rights of Pennsylvania workers are protected.
