Frances A. Beck, 93, of Nazareth, died Monday, September 10, 2012, at Gracedale in Upper Nazareth. Born September 16, 1918 in Nazareth, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Hilda (Achenbach) Haldeman and wife of the late Lester L. Beck.
Frances was a beautician at the former Haldemans Beauty Salon, Nazareth for over 40 years before retiring. She was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ, Nazareth. She enjoyed fishing and bird watching.
Survivors: Niece, Cynthia J. wife of Alan Hastie of Rutherford, NJ; great-nieces, Lauren and Kristen. She was predeceased by her sister, Kathryn Stull.
Services: Arrangements are being handled by Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, Inc., 211 East Center Street, Nazareth, PA, where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, September 15, 2012.
